A recurring theme when I talk about cheap bike parts is am I referring to quality or price. Let me assure you I?m always referring to price. There is never a reason to buy cheap quality anything in my book but I understand that even when it comes to good quality parts there are different qualities. Brakes do wear out and when it comes to rim brakes typically all you have to do is replace the pads and maybe adjust the cable and your set to go again. When it comes to disc brakes there is a lot more involved but it is not that difficult but it will definitely cost more.

I think it is important to support our local bike shops because most of them do a good job and are important to us. The problem is they don?t always have the cheapest prices. That being said there is more to getting value for your money than the price of the part. If you really need to save money on the part the best place to look is online. Here you will find online bike shops as well as auction sites and classified sites all of which you can shop and find good deals.

In my opinion there is no one site that has a corner on being the best for saving you money on any or all parts. I love the search for cheap bike parts that for me is part of the fun. You may be different as we all tend to be but if you look around I am sure you will find your best place to shop.
