A detailed, hi-res photo of more ?The Craft? operatives and what appears to be their mobile communications van has just surfaced. ?The Craft? is a group of private military operatives who have been revealed through a fast-growing number of photos published by Natural News and Info Wars.

The mainstream media is engaged in a total blackout and refuses to run any photos of ?The Craft? operatives. This story is quickly becoming the biggest media cover-up in history.

Natural News was the first to identify?the brand of the radiation detector being held in the hand of one ?Craft? operatives. Now, we appear to be the first to run this photo of what looks to be an extremely high-end mobile communications van with?seven more ?Craft? operatives.

The van clearly has a foldable satellite dish as well as what is possibly a microwave communications dome. The vehicle is a Chevy Escalade that has been outfitted with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of roof racks and communications equipment.

Note: We can?t be 100% certain this vehicle belongs to The Craft team, but it fits their M.O. While all the other emergency vehicles on the scene are clearly marked, this vehicle is unmarked. The proximity of The Craft members to the van is also an indication that this vehicle may be a ?rally point.?

We may have identified the nature of the dish on the top of the vehicle. It closely resembles?Quickspot IP satellite systems.

Quickspot allows a vehicle to have broadband internet access on demand, anywhere in the world.

Here are some additional photos of ?The Craft? operatives that the alternative media has spearheaded while the delusional mainstream media continues to pretend that none of these photos even exist!

High-salt diet and ulcer bug combine to increase risk of cancer

Apr. 18, 2013 ? Numerous epidemiologic studies have shown that a diet high in salt is associated with an increased risk of gastric cancer. Now Timothy L. Cover and colleagues of Vanderbilt University show that high dietary salt combined with infection by the ulcer-causing bacterium Helicobacter pylori greatly increases the risk of cancer.

The study was published ahead of print in the journal Infection and Immunity.

In the study, the researchers infected Mongolian gerbils with H. pylori. One set of gerbils received a regular diet; the other, a high salt diet. At the end of the experiment the researchers analyzed the animals' stomach tissues. Every animal on the high salt diet developed cancer, compared with just 58 percent of those on the regular diet.

It appears development of gastric cancer required the presence of a particular bacterial oncoprotein, known as CagA, which is produced by H. pylori. Gastric cancer did not develop in animals on the high salt diet that were infected with a mutant H. pylori which did not produce CagA. In earlier studies, Cover and others had shown that culturing H. pylori in a high salt environment boosts production of CagA. "This was one of the driving forces that led us to undertake the current studies," says Cover.

The investigators note that while no studies, to their knowledge, have examined relationships among a high salt diet, and infection with H. pylori expressing cagA, "in several parts of the world that have high rates of gastric cancer, there is a high prevalence of cagA+ strains and a large proportion of the population consumes a high-salt diet."

The investigators also detected significantly higher levels of gastric inflammation in H. pylori-infected gerbils on a high salt diet than in those on a regular diet, a finding which Cover says is relevant to many types of cancer. They also showed that transcription of various inflammatory cytokines, such as interleukin 1-beta, are elevated in the former as compared to the latter, suggesting that "these factors may contribute to the increased inflammation and increased gastric risk that accompany a high salt diet," says Cover.

At least 50 percent of humans are infected with H. pylori, at least 90 percent of them without symptoms.

Microsoft Makes 1,000 Windows 8 Quickstart Kits Available To iOS Developers: $25 For Win 8 Pro & Parallels For Mac

windows8_quickstartTwo weeks ago, Microsoft launched its Windows 8 Quickstart kits for web developers who want to test their web apps on Internet Explorer 10 and Windows 8 on their Macs. That offer sold out very quickly, but today, Microsoft announced that it is making another 1,000 of these kits available on Swish, with 10,000 more coming throughout the rest of the year. The offer will go live at 2:30 p.m. PT today. Until then, it’s only available to DEMO attendees. For just a $25 donation to either code.org, Khan Academy or Watsi.org, as well as $8 in shipping costs, these developers will get a copy of Windows 8 Professional, Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac, and “iOS to Windows porting support from top engineers.” The kits are scheduled to ship in early June. The focus this time is on iOS developers, and anybody who wants to get one of these kits will have 60 seconds to get past a number of multiple-choice questions to prove that they are indeed developers. To get this offer, you will have to show that you know your way around UIView, UIViewController and similar topics that iOS developers are likely intimately familiar with. Last time, the offer and puzzle were geared toward web developers and was relatively easy to solve. For now, just 1,000 of these kits are available, but Microsoft says it plans to make about 10,000 available at various app builder events in the U.S. and international dev camps throughout the year. As Microsoft notes, the company is extending this offer because it wants iOS developers to “get started creating your own apps for Windows Store.”

Ubisoft CEO Thinks Gamers Are Ready For Always-On Consoles

Ubisoft big dog Yannis Mallat says gamers will embrace always-on gaming as soon as they're able to stop worrying about it.

There are several reasons to be wound up about the prospect of an always-on game console, as the next Xbox is strongly rumored to be. Perhaps you live someplace with less than rock-solid internet service, or maybe you bore first-hand witness to the SimCity fiasco and don't feel overly inclined to trust your future gaming experiences to a mandatory connection to some central server somewhere. Or it could be a matter of principle; maybe you just don't like other people and can't abide the idea of even a tangential connection to them while you play.

Whatever the reason, an awful lot of gamers have expressed an awful lot of concern that Microsoft's next console will require a constant connection in order to function. But Mallat said people will stop worrying about such things as soon as the industry demonstrates that there's really nothing to worry about.

"As soon as players don't have to worry, then they will only take into account the benefits that those services bring," he told the Guardian. "And I agree, these services need to provide clear benefits. It's important to be able to provide direct connections between us and our consumers, whether that's extra content or online services, a lot of successful games have that."

As for whether or not the world is ready for an always-on console, he said that's a question that should be put to Sony and Microsoft, but added, "I would say that a lot of people are already always online through other devices - I would suspect that the audience is ready."

I wouldn't say he's necessarily wrong, and in fact he's dead-on when he says that the debate will go away as soon as the reasons for worrying do. The trouble is that so much of is is based on infrastructure, or lack thereof, and that's not something that any console manufacturer can do anything about. And even when infrastructure is solid, a dependence on remote servers is going to blow up in your face sooner or later - as Ubisoft, of all companies, should very well know.

Thanks to HTML5, Streaming Movies on Netflix Might Suck Less

Netflix currently uses Microsoft's Silverlight plugin to run its streams. It's an inelegant solution that sometimes makes for subpar and bogged down streaming experiences. But Silverlight is possibly dying! And Netflix wants to get better! So Netflix is planning to move on from streaming on Silverlight and move towards HTML5 video. When that happens, streaming movies on Netflix might suck less. More »
